We Hike to Heal - Wilmington Delaware, FREE Women's Group Hike

We'll be hiking the Blue Ball Barn to Brandywine trail at the Alapocas State Park which is a 4 mile trail within Wilmington, DE. This is an easy hike with beautiful views throughout. We welcome all fitness levels to join us; the goal is to enjoy the journey, we are never in a race!

Once we reach the Brandywine river, we'll plan to take a break to catch our breath, enjoy the view and do a little gratitude journaling!

Parking: Parking lot with no state park fees due to off-season

Difficulty level/Distance: Moderate /(4miles)

Restroom Facilities: Bathroom on site

What you will need for this hike:

• Plenty of water to drink! (we recommend at least 1-3 liters)
• Layers, hats and gloves, it may be cold!
• Comfortable hiking shoes/boots or trail sneakers
• Comfortable moisture wicking clothing - workout clothes work just fine!
• A daypack/backpack to carry all your items
• A towel to sit on if you're uncomfortable sitting on the ground
• Your journal and a pen
