Saturday 28th February, 10am - 2pm

We have had 12 months of sowing seeds, harvesting natural dye, banging in posts, digging up grass, dyeing around the fire and crafting the wonderful Marlpit Mural, which will be on display for the first time on the day! Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed to this project!

It's time for our last session within this current project...(more to come soon we hope if funding bids are successful), and we are going out with a firey red, mad madder colour!

We are going to be tie dyeing with madder (some from the Marlpit Dye Garden....wow!) and we'd love you to come along and gather around the fire with us to get creative.

We'll have food to share and some music from Sophie Wren.

10.15am - Garden tour
10.45am - Marlpit Mural reveal
11am - 12pm - Mad with madder tie dyeing - cotton drawstring bags provided!
12pm - Music from Sophie Wren
12.30pm - 1.30pm - Shared lunch and hang out around the fire

Please bring something for the food-share table, a bowl, cutlery and mug, and if you have an instrument and fancy playing, bring that too!

This is the final session of the current We Grow Colour project and we would love to see you to celebrate. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome. It's really helpful if you let us know you are coming.
