Come together for a deeply transformative experience at the 'We Do Recover: Art & Sound Journey Event' - an art exhibition & sound journey all-in-one event focusing on recovery from addiction/alcoholism and addiction-based trauma. Offering an alternative to heading to the bar for "Happy Hour!"
This event will feature 13 pieces of energy-infused healing art from my on-going series on Addiction - a story told through visual art from the perspectives of the addict as well as from their loved ones.
Pick the piece of art that speaks to you the most and settle into a relaxing posture either sitting or laying down nearby as I lull you into a relaxed and meditative state with the use "of the vibrations of the human voice as well as objects that resonate - crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, rattles, drums - go beyond relaxation and stimulate healing." Once the bond is formed between you & the art, the art has a way of interacting with you and adding a visual aspect to your experience! Viewing the artwork before & after the meditation anchors the experience in your sunconscious mind. Anytime you see the image, you will be transported back into this relaxed state via memory and sensory recall. Our event will be held at the serene and therapeutic facility of Wells Therapeutic, located across from Mt. Trashmore Park in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This location provides the perfect atmosphere to relax, unwind, and reconnect with yourself & others walking the path of recovery. This is a safe, loving & non-judgmental space.

At the 'We Do Recover: Art & Sound Journey Event', you will be offered a communal experience that blends art and sound therapy. This event is aimed at stimulating curiosity, boosting critical thinking, engaging in cathartic conversation, firing your creativity, enhancing your mental clarity, reducing anxiety, increasing mood-boosting serotonin levels, and improving your overall well-being. No prior experience in art, sound therapy or meditation is required to participate in this event. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to explore new experiences.
