We Create 2025 Showcase

We Create, Springfield's annual community-design competition, returns Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Hotel Vandivort! Each year, members of the Springfield community come together to explore creative solutions to the many challenges facing our city. In the spirit of collaboration and friendly competition, teams have less than 24 hours to create innovative proposals that inspire positive change. This year, teams will explore neighborhood hubs — public spaces that enable access to a range of resources and community-led activities — as a place-based approach to addressing gaps in social infrastructure.

The showcase starts at noon with keynote speaker Antoine Bryant, Co-Managing Director of Gensler Detroit (former City of Detroit Director of Planning and Development). Team presentations to follow. Seats are limited!
