About this Event

WE Connect: Creating Equitable Workplaces for Women & Mothers

As we recognize Mother’s Day in May, we welcome a very special guest presenter for our May WE Connect, Dana Toppel, Founder of Make Work Work for Moms. Dana is also COO at Jewish Family Service of San Diego and sits on several key commissions addressing issues for women and children, including equal pay for women throughout their lifetimes. At our WE Connect, she will kick off an important conversation on women and mothers in the workplace, crafting a mom-friendly workplace, updates on the local City of San Diego Commission on the Status of Women, and the intersection of her advocacy on the California Commission of Aging.

At our WE Connects, we join in engaging discussions, invite sharing of questions, experiences, and knowledge, and encourage mingling and networking to make new connections in the community.
