“BALLROOM IS A BLACK FREEDOM MOVEMENT!”-MICHAEL ROBERSON
In celebration of Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., join us for a screening of WE CALL IT BALLROOM, an archival imagination of a century of ballroom history created by filmmaker ODU ADAMU and inspired by author MICHAEL ROBERSON. The film is followed by an engaging dialogue highlighting ballroom’s contributions to the Black arts and liberation experience!
