We Birthed This: A Storytelling Showcase on Black Maternal Health

Join us for a beautiful evening that includes honoring stories through the arts and community conversation. Doors open at 4:30 PM. We will begin with a mingle hour that includes heavy Hors d'oeuvres. The show starts promptly at 6:00PM. Immediately following the show, we will host a community conversation that helps us discuss and unpack the themes of the show.

Written and Produced by Epoch Tribe in partnership with Forsyth County Birth Stories and Boston-Thurmond United, this production features true stories of real Black women who have lived with the challenges and complications of birthing while Black. This production is deeply personal, emotional, and has complex content that may be challenging for some to hear. This event is properly suited for individuals who are 13 and older.
