WE Bike the Queens/BK Waterfront

Join WE Bike NYC for a Citi Bike- friendly recreational ride Sunday May 17th, along the Queens and Brooklyn waterways to get pie at Steve’s Key Lime Pie in Red Hook. (https://keylime.com)

We’ll meet at Socrates Sculpture Park in Astoria, Queens, near the entrance at Vernon Blvd and Broadway. From there, WE will ride south on Vernon Blvd, head over the Pulaski Bridge, then pedal along bike paths following the Brooklyn waterfront, riding through Brooklyn Navy Yard, Dumbo, and Brooklyn Bridge Park. There will be a brief rest near the Navy Yard on Flushing where riders can hit the restrooms and refresh their Citi Bikes.

The ride will end at Steve’s Key Lime Pie at 185 Van Dyke St. in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Bring your helmet (required), and cash/cards if you want a sweet treat at the end of the ride from Steve’s. There are plenty of tables at the end to relax and enjoy a pie if you choose, and enjoy the sweeping views of the New York Bay!
