Join us this Thursday evening in the Second Floor Flex Space for our very first meetup for the Deep Ellum History Archive.
Meet with like minded history lovers and discuss our lost and found history, give oral testimony, bring your own ephemera and artifacts to be documented and added to the Deep Ellum Archive in the Dallas Public Library Historical Archives. Let's document our history!
Each month, on the 3rd Thursday from 6 to 8pm, we will meet at the Deep Ellum Community Center to recap and show our latest donations, discuss history topic of interest, gather information and discover what we can about our neighborhood's history. We will have light snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments as well as the galleries and main exhibit in the Deep Ellum Community Center to explore.
Our first meetup, for May will be just a crude beginning but we have some excellent items to talk about and show off.
