Special Collections welcomes local genealogist and author Elizabeth Louque Martin to the Main Library at Goodwood on Wednesday, November 20 at 6 p.m. Martin has written a book about her family entitled We Are Acadian: Our Hebert Family. It all started with a mystery concerning her great-grandfather that she will reveal during her talk. Elizabeth has done extensive research into her Acadian family members and will discuss not only the process of writing the book, but also the many resources she discovered, online and in-person. Come hear her story and insights; maybe you will write a book about your family next!
