Where: The meetup location will be shared with registered volunteers. Access is through Galaxy Park near Boynton Beach Blvd and I-95.
What: Help to remove invasive plants from this unique scrub habitat. No experience necessary. Volunteers will receive guidance on removal and disposal. The area is mostly sunny and sandy. 😊 This is a great opportunity to log community service hours.
BONUS #1: A few pair of W**d Wrangle gloves are available to early attendees, or bring your own.
BONUS #2:: Volunteers are invited to a guided nature trail tour in the sand pine forest at 11:00 am.
Who: All ages are welcome! Those under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
Wear closed-toe shoes, long sleeves (some thorny plants), pants, hat, sunscreen and a refillable water bottle
