WCS Competition Preparation (with David & Mikaela)

Wanting to compete in the coming months? Join us for our Competition Prep Class, open to West Coast Swing competitors at the Newcomer or Novice level (brand new to competition or having done a few of them).

This competition preparation class we will be joined by David and Mikaela from Remix Swing.

NOTE: There is no pre-requisite for this class, but pre-registration is necessary because we expect it to fill up!

Date: Thurs. July 4

Time: 6-9 pm (The first 30 minutes will be optional guided warm-up so if you're coming from work don't worry about being a few minutes late.)

Cost: $40 + HST

There will be another Competition Preparation class on Fri. June 21st with Lisa (TOSHC Event Director) and Mikaela Lewis from Remix Swing. Pre-register for both Competition Preparation classes for a discounted price ($70 + HST) for both.

Masks and vaccinations are no longer required for public events. Please do your best to keep yourself and your community safe. This means if you are sick, please do not come to class, and if you have been exposed it is recommended that you wear a mask to protect the safety of our community and fellow dancers. If you are sick prior to an event please contact us for a credit to put towards another class. If you are sick at an event (sniffling/coughing) you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.

Class passes and workshops will not be refunded except under extreme circumstances, but can be transferred to the next class block if necessary (must be requested), or to another person of the same role (leader/follower).

MISSED CLASSES

If you miss a class, you can make it up by attending another same level class within that week (note curriculums will be different).

DROP-INS

Drop-ins are only allowed consecutively and from the first class. Otherwise, purchasing a full 5 week class block is required. Drop-in prices for curriculum classes increase to $25 + HST. Passes are non-transferable and cannot be used by other dancers.

You will be asked to sign a Waiver and Media Release (photos and videos taken during the even may be used in promotional materials or posted on social media). If you have questions about the Waiver prior to purchasing your event pass, please contact us. You cannot participate in Remix Swing events without signing the Waiver.

All participants must be 18+ years old.
