What sort of work will I be doing?

LANDSCAPING:

- Plant a tree and a few shrubs and ornamental grasses in front bed (SKILLED Gardener)

- Remove leaves and debris along the west fence line and near the air conditioner.
- Remove Ivy from east fencing and adjacent bed. Apply vegetation killer.
- Remove fallen tree limb on top of garage
- Mulch beds adjacent to house and fence (except do NOT mulch along the west fence line because the fence will be reconstructed after CareFest and mulch in this area would make it difficult).
- Remove and stockpile large rocks along edge of rear bed. Stockpile location to be designated by owner.

SKILLED Electrician:

- Replace exterior light fixtures at front and side door. Lights are already purchased.
SKILLED Carpenter/Fencing:

- Remove and dispose of existing 6' high wooden privacy fence located on west property line including all posts and panels.

- Saw existing posts flush to grade if they cannot be removed.

- Remove 4 additional panels along east and south lines where fence rails have rotted.

- Install 4 new fence panels along east and south fence lines

VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING (If you are able):

• WATER to drink
• Gardening Gloves
• Wheelbarrows (5 needed)
• Rakes (2-3 Needed)
• Shovels (5 needed)
• Trowels
• Shears
• Loppers
• Spade
• For FENCE removal: Goggles, work gloves, hammers, sledge hammers, and crowbars. (SKILLED Carpenter to bring if they have them)
• For FENCE Installation: Goggles, work gloves, hammers, chalk line, level, tape, circular saw. (SKILLED Carpenter to bring if they have them)
• Basic electrical tools needed for exterior light installation (SKILLED Electrician to bring if they have them)

Optional:

• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Bug Spray
