The Wazza Cup is fast approaching! Don’t let this race catch up and pass you by! This race is really unique and this year, extra special as we celebrate the 5th birthday of South Bank Runners. We can't wait to share this milestone with all of you!
WHAT?
The Wazza Cup is a handicapped 10km race with staggered start times named after one of our legendary members - Warran “Wazza” McMillan. Your start time is determined by your 5KM PB in 2024. The most slow and steady will do the honours of starting the race and the fastest will start dead last, making it anyone's race to win the Wazza Cup! Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Keep an eye out for the link to submit your 5km PB (verified through Strava or Parkrun or an official race result).
WHERE?
This year, we're making slight changes to the course to commemorate our club's 5th birthday. The race will start and finish at the Southbank ParkRun area. After the race, join us for a BBQ breakfast and birthday cake! A detailed course map will be provided soon.
