Instructors:

Dr. John Shane:

Currently the Chief Mycologist at PriorityLab in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Shane has 45 years experience identifying fungal spores and has taught hundreds of laboratory technicians how to identify fungal spores, house dust, fibers, botanical traces and combustion products. Dr. Shane developed and taught Indoor Air Quality courses at the McCrone Research Institute .
Over the years Dr. Shane has taught many courses and given many lectures on proper sampling of buildings and how to interpret their inspection and mold reports.

Christina and Alfred Ritacco from Superior Mold Services and Look Up Solutions:

This course will be going over the full mold remediation process that includes the ways to complete a full mold remediation, proper safety procedures and the full cleaning process.

Christina is a Florida licensed Mold Assessor, Mold Remediation and Realtor. Christina is the an owner of Superior Mold Services and has been involved with hundreds of mold remediations. Christina also worked in the health care industry for 10 plus years.

Alfred Ritacco is the owner of Superior Mold Serviced and managing partner of Look Up Solutions, LLC. Alfred is currently a Florida-licensed Home Inspector, Mold Assessor, Mold Remediator, and a CAM Manager. Alfred has been involved with thousands of mold assessments and mold remediations in his career Alfred also worked with FirstService Residential as a Chief Engineer in charge of hundreds of projects that include cooling tower replacements, cast iron replacements and painting/concrete restorations and he also was in charge of all the emergency services with 60 different buildings. Alfred is currently the Board President of HISAF and holds the Certified Master Inspector designation through InterNACHI and holds over 60 plus certifications in the industry.

Raymond Ward:

Home inspectors often walk away from mold situations saying "I think that's mold" — but with proper training, you can give your clients something better: evidence.

Raymond be presenting on Mold Sampling Protocol for Non-Licensed Home Inspectors — covering legal scope under Florida law, air/swab/tape lift sampling techniques, equipment calibration, chain of custody documentation, and how to read a third-party lab report.

Raymond Ward is a Florida-licensed Home Inspector (HI-1164), Mold Assessor (MRSA-2391), Mold Remediator (MRSR-3879), and Radon Measurement Technician (R-2454) with 24 years in the industry.
