How to Have a Healthy Relationship With Yourself: Unlearning Diet Culture & Fatphobia
Join us with guest speaker Haley Schiek, owner of Cosana Coaching, to learn about disordered eating, recovery coaching, and cultivating a healthy relationship with food and body without focusing on dieting or weight loss. Haley will discuss how diet culture sets our clients and us up to fail and how unlearning diet culture, fatphobia, and common myths from the diet and weight loss industries can improve body image, confidence, and health. This group will cover three ways to enhance your relationship with food and better support your clients in doing the same. A Q&A session will be held to address specific questions.
This seminar is designed to provide you with practical and actionable insights. Haley aims to facilitate informational and engaging conversations about dieting and disordered eating to promote healthier mindsets around food. At the end of this group, Haley’s goal is for you to walk away with three new ideas that you can immediately apply to support yourself and your clients in improving their body image, redefining health, and improving their overall relationship with food.
Bio: Haley Schiek is a certified professional coach (CPC), yoga teacher (E-CYT 250), and surf instructor specializing in eating disorder recovery and psycho-spiritual wellness.
