Wayfarer vineyard is extraordinary and unforgiving – 30 undulating acres hidden beyond rising fog and redwoods on a remote reach of the Sonoma Coast. A little bit about Joe Hunter:

Raised in Portland Oregon, after traveling the world, Joe represented well over a

hundred wineries from many growing regions on the wholesale side. Joe and his wife

Shelly have raised three wonderful children, two Cavalier King Charles in beautiful

Southern Oregon. The family grew up around vineyards and wineries, finding a true

passion for wine and winemaking at a very young age.

36 Years in the wine industry, the first 24 spent on the wholesale side of wine

distribution, 12 years ago Joe joined the Pahlmeyer Family leading Wayfarer Vineyard as

our National Sales Manager for the US and Export markets. He continues to strengthen

the distributor and account relationships we’ve built over years spreading his passion

for our Wayfarer wines.

Joe attended Portland State University in Portland Oregon, later in his career attended

Sonoma State University, he was inducted into the International Cabernet Guild in the

Casablanca Valley Chile along with being part of the French Wine Society.

After 34 years in the wine business, you can find Joe somewhere on the planet creating

an opportunity to share his passion for our Wayfarer vineyard family and wines.
