Step into the heart of Waxahachie's charm during the 56th Annual Gingerbread Trail Tour of Homes! This beloved event celebrates the city's rich history and historic architecture, offering a unique glimpse into what makes the "Gingerbread City" so special.
Event Highlights:
- Six Guided Historic Home Tours – Visit this year’s lineup of beautiful historic homes. 10am - 4pm Saturday & Sunday. (Tickets are good for either day.)

- VIP Tour Experience – Elevate your Gingerbread Trail adventure with VIP Tour Tickets — an early access experience designed to help you beat the crowds and experience the tour before anyone else with VIP perks. Begin your tour with VIP only access to the homes from 9-10am and mimosas at the Ellis County Museum. Then, set out to explore the 2026 Tour homes at your own pace thanks to your exclusive Skip the Line access, and end your day on Saturday at the Gingerbread Trail Soiree from 6-9pm at Railport Brewing Company. Limited availability — treat yourself to the ultimate Trail experience!
- Exclusive Museum Access – Delve into Waxahachie's rich past with exhibits from past to present and learn about Ellis County's rich heritage, from agriculture to baseball history! Museum access available only to Gingerbread Trail ticketholders during the Trail weekend.

- Echoes of The Past Ghost Tour, Saturday June 6th, 8-9:30 pm – Discover downtown Waxahachie's haunted history on an enchanting evening walk and paranormal demonstration by Haunted Hachie Tours.
