Who is ready to combine our two favorite things - tacos and BBA beer. We shall call this special day Tactoberfest! It's been a year in the making, but we're finally ready to announce our first ever taco eating contest in conjunction with our friends and neighbors, Mi Pueblo Mexican Restaurant. In addition to the festivities, we will also be releasing a special Oktoberfest-themed BBA beer. Stay tuned for details about that.
Please join us on Saturday, October 25 from 1pm-3pm for an afternoon of excessive taco consumption. Mi Pueblo will also be catering a taco bar for non participants. Here are all of the details for the taco eating contest and taco bar:
TACO EATING CONTEST
-$26 entry fee (includes all of your tacos and your first Wax Wings beverage)
-1pm registration/rules overview
-2pm taco eating contest start time
-First prize: $100 gift card to Wax Wings
-Second prize: $50 gift card to Wax Wings
-Third prize: $25 gift card to Wax Wings
-Free giveaways for all contestants
TACO BAR (non contest participants)
-$17 (adults) $10 (children 12 and under) for all you can eat taco bar
-1pm-3pm
-Includes two meats, flour and corn tortillas, cheese, cilantro, onions, rice, beans, chips/salsa, and red and green sauce
