We are inviitng you to a night of vinyl to No Requests. The culture of DJing and its history plays an important part in our day to day life at No Requests. We are comitted to promoting vinyl at the club and are inviting vinyl only DJs to play house music for you every Wednesday from 10-2am.

Overall, vinyl DJing and house music go hand in hand, and both have played an important role in the evolution of electronic dance music. Vinyl records often have a warmer and richer sound than digital music. This is because vinyl records are an analog format that captures sound waves in a continuous stream, whereas digital music is a more compressed and processed format. The result is that vinyl records capture more of the nuances and imperfections of the original recording, which can give them a more organic and authentic sound. Expecially for house music this creates unique sonical experiences for the listener.

Vinyl DJing is deepply engrained in the history and culture of house music, dating all the way to the early1980s. To continue the legacy and expand the roots of house music we are excited to promote this format regularly and consistently at No Requests.
