Please join us for a fun and creative evening where you’ll make your very own wax paper lantern. These lanterns are simply stunning, and the design possibilities are endless. We’ll provide a beautiful selection of faux flowers, leaves, and a variety of papers for you to incorporate into your creation.
Please note that your lantern will need to be left in situ to dry, so you will need to return at a later date to collect your finished piece.
These lanterns are best suited for indoor use, though you may place them outside at your own risk, as weather conditions may cause damage. They must only ever be used with a fake candle and never an open flame.
Suitable for beginners to the advanced. You do not have to be an artist or have any previous artistic experience to do this workshop.
Please do note that all our classes and workshops are adults only, therefore we only allow over 18’s to attend.
The session is £12.50, and all materials and refreshments are provided.
Please note booking is essential, we cannot accept walk ins on the day, full payment will also be required upon booking to secure your space. Please note that should you no longer be able to attend, we will be unable to move you to a different event or refund you due the cost of materials, unless we can fill your space.

We are located next to the pet shop and opposite the hairdressers.
As the name suggests we are located under ground, therefore there is no disabled access. However there are two large handrails to guide you down the stairs, and the area is bright and well lit.
There is ample free parking in the car park by the library and the co-op, please do however ensure that you check the time restrictions and areas that may be permit only.
And finally as we are an arts and crafts centre we therefore recommend that you always wear old clothes, or clothes that you do not mind permanent stains on, anything you wear or bring is at your own risk in terms of stains or damage.
