Waves Crashing + Healees + Hibiscus Haze at Chelmsford's Hot Box

One band from Seattle; one based in France; the first support from Colchester, Essex. The common denominator: all three have a fresh approach to dream pop.
Waves Crashing, from Olympia, Seattle, have a definite punk element to their sound, something they share with Nirvana.
The drinks cabinet of Healees, from France, is well-stocked with shoegaze libations. Their sonic cocktail will make you feel euphorically MBV.
Hibiscus Haze are just starting out, comparitively speaking. However, underestimate at your peril. They have the tunes and the tenacity and will lyrically tear a strip off those not paying attention.
Three incredible bands on a November night. What are you waiting for? Head to DICE to get your tickets.
