WaveGuide Gathering

So we’ve got a paddock, a river, and the last surviving Turbosound rig in Tasmania. Naturally, the responsible thing to do was book three days of music and invite everyone.
WaveGuide Gathering is what happens when you take sound production a little too seriously and decide a normal weekend just won’t cut it.
We’ve spent more hours than we’d like to admit keeping this rig alive — tri-amping cabinets, chasing down parts, arguing about capacitors — so we could stand in a field and turn it up.
This is that field.
Come stand in it with us.
Bands, live acts, tassies hip-hop crew, drum and bass, house , techno — the lineup moves through more or less everything across the weekend, on a main stage built for it.
One very stubborn piece of Tasmanian sound history running the main stage: the last Turbosound Floodlight -era rig in the state, kept running by Lutruwita Sound Design out of sheer bloody-mindedness. This isn’t a hire company special. It’s our work, love , and dream. we built it back up, and we’re going to make it work for a living.
Bands and DJs, your window is open. Submissions close December 16, 2026. Final Lineup drops January 2027 — try to contain yourselves.
