Watford | Fit To Bid® programme launch event

Watford Borough Council have commissioned Branduin Business Support to deliver a fully funded supply-chain business engagement, skills development, and bids and tender support package for SMEs based in the Borough. The objective of this supplier development programme is to help local businesses enhance their skills and capability to bid for contracts at Watford Council, large construction projects, and major private sector companies.

The scope of the Fit To Bid® programme includes specialist skills training workshops, webinars, Meet the Buyer events, and confidential 1-2-1 tender business advice sessions with an expert advisor to help you identify and overcome key challenges and master the art and science of bid writing.

Established businesses and early-stage trading organisations based in the Borough of Watford are welcome to join the programme.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund – a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda which provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025.
