Watervliet Civic Center 80th Anniversary Celebration
About this Event
Join us on Friday, October 2, 2026, as we celebrate the Watervliet Civic Center's 80th Anniversary at Wolferts Roost Country Club in Albany. For 80 years, the Civic Center has served the Watervliet community, and we invite you to help us mark this special milestone.
The evening will run from 6:00–10:00 p.m., beginning with a cocktail hour and live music from 6:00–6:30 p.m., followed by the “80 Years of the Civ” video from 6:30–6:40 p.m. and testimonials on past and present Civ leadership from 6:40–7:00 p.m. Community leadership will then share remarks from 7:00–7:15 p.m., followed by live music and celebration from 7:15–8:45 p.m., community testimonials from 8:45–9:00 p.m., and live music and celebration continuing through 10:00 p.m. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening. This is a relaxed event with both seating and standing room available, and guests are welcome to arrive and depart at any time throughout the evening. While the focus of the event is celebrating 80 years of community impact, those who wish to support our mission will have the opportunity to make a donation through our event page or by check.
