On this Ingathering Sunday, we return to our sanctuary for the start of the worship-year. We will gather at 10:15am in front of the church, listen to live music, and then enter the sanctuary together at 10:30am.There is so much in the world right now that is challenging and wears on our spirits. As we celebrate our annual Water Ceremony, we reflect on the ways in which we can bring renewal to one another and the world when our proverbial wells and buckets seem dry. Tony Winters will serve as our Guest Musician, sharing music on guitar and piano. Please bring water from a place that is meaningful to you (water will also be available at the church, so all may participate in the Water Ceremony). During the service we will celebrate our shared ministry, commissioning this year’s Board of Governors and offering blessings to our new staff members, Ann Parsley, Ministerial Intern, and Kendall Doty, Communications Coordinator.
Note, we will not be having Joys and Sorrows during this special service. Following the service, we will have an Ice Cream Social hosted by our Board of Governors.
