WATERLINK WAY : LOWER SYDENHAM, TO GREENWICH WALK - SUNDAY

Follows the Pool and Ravensbourne rivers through south-east London via landscaped linear parks and green spaces. Dogs can use this trail as well, but must be on a leash.

We'll meet at Lower Sydenham station at 10:30am and leave the meeting point at 10:40am.

TRAVEL

Lower Sydenham station is located in Zone 4

The route connects a number of attractive parks and green spaces in South East London, while following the Pool and Ravensbourne Rivers. It follows parts of the well-waymarked Waterlink Way, the London-part of the National walk Network Route connecting Eastbourne to the Thames. Large stretches of those rivers have in recent years been re-naturalised or at least sympathetically embedded in landscaped linear parks such as Ladywell Fields and Brookmill Park.

FOOD

We will stop during the hike for a snack lunch, so please bring food and drink. We will visit a pub after the hike where we can get refreshments.

The cost includes the guided hike and the Club's insurance.
