🔥 WaterFire welcomes special education leaders to Providence! 🔥
On Wednesday, November 11, twelve braziers will burn in Memorial Park for a special partial lighting. It celebrates the opening of the CASE 2026 Convention, which brings special education leaders from across the country to Providence November 11–13. Convention attendees and the public are both welcome.
🛶 The Lighting: At 6:30 PM, WaterFire boats will light the twelve braziers during a ceremony welcoming CASE attendees to the city. The fires burn until 8:30 PM.
🕯️ Torch Procession: As the fires are lit, a special torch procession will move through Memorial Park. It honors the educators and leaders who support students with disabilities nationwide.
🏙️ Make a night of it: In town for the convention? Explore downtown Providence’s restaurants, shops and cultural spots before or after the lighting.
