Watercolour Workshop: Paint a Lobster

I don't know about you but I do not enjoy the cold, dark and wet days and evenings we get here in the UK during the winter months. Especially after Christmas when it feels like spring will never come!

But fear not! The best antidote for seasonal depression is creativity! So come along to my cosy Edinburgh studio for a painting class. Sip on prosecco, listen to classical music and chat with new people while you learn to paint a blue tit with watercolours and dream of the warm days ahead... and of course, Spud and Ollie the dogs will be on hand for cuddles!

No experience is needed, these classes are more about you trying something different, meeting new people and having fun. The painting is taught step-by-step so it's easy to follow.

All materials are provided (including prosecco!) and we will be using top quality paper, paint and paintbrushes so that you can really see the paint working at it's best.

Please bring something to take your painting home in

There are 4 students per class. This class will start at 6.30pm with some exercises that will help you learn how the paint works. We will then paint a Lobster following a step by step guide I've created. The class finishes at 8.30pm.

Directions

If driving: there is plenty free parking on site around Edinburgh Palette (St Margarets House). When you come into the carpark drive past the first big brown building and all the way around to the back of the second big building. On this side is where you will find the entrance - a set of blue doors. Upon arrival please buzz reception (but if no one answers give me a call or whatsapp on 07837822429 and I will come down and let you in.)

Take the lift up to floor 2, make a left out the lift and go through the double doors at the end. I am the 4th studio door you come to.

If arriving on foot or by bus: there is an entrance on London Road. Buzz reception, but if no answer give me a call or whatsapp on 07837822429 and I will come down and let you in.
