Watercolour Wooden Slice Tree Decorations

About the workshop

Come and paint your own hand-decorated wooden slice ornaments to hang on the tree, or to give as personalised gifts on Christmas Day. From cosy mugs of hot chocolate to Highland coos in Santa hats and festive wreaths, there’s plenty of inspiration to choose from.

No experience is needed. We’ll build up gently, step by step:

• Warm-up exercises: learn the basics of watercolour mixing and brush control, so everyone feels confident before starting.
• Prepare your wooden slices: getting them ready to paint.
• Draw your design: sketch directly onto the wood. Transfers will be available for anyone who isn’t comfortable drawing, so nobody has to worry about that part.
• Paint! Bring your designs to life in watercolour.
• Everyone will make up to 4 hanging decorations to take home and proudly hang on their own tree, or to give to someone they love.

All art materials will be provided. Guests are asked to bring their own lunch or snacks.
