About this Event

In this fun and creative workshop, you’ll learn how to work with the texture, typography and aged tones of old paper to create unique mixed-media artworks.

Through guided demonstrations and playful experimentation, you’ll explore watercolour techniques, composition, layering and ways to incorporate the existing words and illustrations of the page into your painting. No previous painting experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to experiment.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a collection of one-of-a-kind artworks and new ideas for transforming forgotten book pages into something beautifully personal.
