Watercolour In The Park @ Pure In The Park Café - Gunnersbury Park

Take a creative pause and enjoy a calm morning of watercolour painting in the beautiful surroundings of Gunnersbury Park.

This relaxed, beginner-friendly session is all about slowing down, exploring watercolour and painting something you love. No previous experience is needed — just bring yourself and enjoy some peaceful creative time outdoors.

We’ll begin with a few simple watercolour techniques to help you warm up and feel confident with your brush. You’ll then have time to create your own painting, with support and guidance available throughout the session.

You can choose what you would like to paint, whether that’s flowers, plants, landscapes or something completely personal to you. Inspiration and prompts will also be available if you’re unsure where to begin.

I’d recommend having a little think beforehand about what you might like to paint, but don’t worry if you’re unsure — inspiration is all around you! You’re also welcome to take a little walk through the park before the session and photograph any flowers, plants, trees or views that catch your eye. You can then use one of your photos as inspiration for your painting.

There’s a lovely café on-site serving drinks and food throughout the morning. Perfect to enjoy while you paint! Kindly note that it’s not BYO, and I’d love for you to support the café by ordering from them during the session 💛

Refund policy
As a small business, a lot of care, preparation and materials go into each session. For this reason, tickets are non-refundable. However, you’re very welcome to transfer your ticket to another person or, where possible, to a future Studio Little Botanica event, subject to availability.

ARRIVAL NOTE - You're very welcome to arrive from 9.00 AM to settle in, grab a drink, and get comfortable before we begin. Please note that the workshop will start promptly at 9.30 AM, so do arrive on time as we will be making the most of our painting time together :)

A little note about the weather:
The session is planned to take place outdoors, surrounded by the beautiful greenery of Gunnersbury Park. If the weather isn’t suitable for painting outside, we’ll move into the café so the session can still go ahead comfortably — although we’re keeping our fingers crossed for a lovely morning outdoors! 🌿
