This is the 1st of a 4-part foundational watercolour series from a highly experienced, award-winning artist and instructor/mentor. This series is jam packed with wonderful hints, tips, and insights on everything from materials, to how to choose your colour palette to designing your composition. If you need to know it; we'll cover it in this series.
You will get a great foundation for creating your own watercolour paintings with confidence.
It’s very important to have a good foundation; to get started on the RIGHT FOOT.
In Step 1, we’ll practice basic techniques needed for for creating realistic watercolour paintings. And we’ll learn all about materials so you understand what to purchase... don't waste money on the wrong things!
- painting materials, surfaces, brushes & tools
- brush and water handling
- various washes & basic techniques essential to all WC painting
