$295 for five weeks, every Friday; 10am to 1pm pm, May 6 to June 3. AfterPay is available for payments by instalments. Lunch and beverages are available to purchase all day from our cafe.

Explore how to lay down washes, mix colours and how to create your own paintings. We will cover aspects of design, creative effects for light, shade and texture. Working from a photo which will be supplied.
The course is aimed at beginners or those with little experience in the medium.
**MATERIALS LIST**
*One sheet of cold press (medium) 300gsm watercolour paper approximately 76cm x 56cm already cut into four pieces before the class, or a watercolour pad. Arches, Canson or Fabriano are good brands but any you prefer is fine.
*One size 10 or 12 non-synthetic, synthetic mix or synthetic brush suitable for watercolours
*One - one inch or one and a half-inch hake brush
*One backing board to stick your paper to.
*One drawing pad or loose paper to sketch on.
*A minimum of watercolour paints, including at least one red, one yellow and one blue and an earth colour. Preferably all of the list below:
Cobalt blue
Ultramarine blue
Cerulean blue
Cadmium red
Alizarin
Cadmium yellow
Lemon yellow
Burnt umber
Burnt sienna
Yellow ochre
Australian red gold or Raw sienna
I will have all material supplies as back up, plus some tubes of paint for sale.
