In this workshop we’ll blend the softness of watercolor with the texture and intention of hand embroidery. You’ll begin by painting a set of simple, whimsical succulent illustrations using watercolor, no experience needed, we will go over some brush skills. Once your paintings are dry, you’ll learn how to add embroidered details directly onto the paper, bringing your artwork to life with stitched stems, leaves, and accents.
We’ll cover beginner-friendly embroidery techniques, how to stitch safely on watercolor paper, and tips for combining paint and thread so the two mediums complement each other beautifully. This class is all about slowing down, experimenting, and enjoying the process, no pressure here.
Each guest will leave with a finished mixed-media art piece that’s ready to frame or gift.
