Join Phyllis at this new outdoor location for a watercolor Paint and Sip class by the beach.Join Phyllis at this new outdoor location on the beach for a fun Paint Party full of color and local scenery. All classes will be done in watercolors, all supplies are included, and one glass of beer or wine.
Please note these classes are usually outside by the beach (unless weather prohibits) at Zachari Dunes (2101 Mandalay Beach Rd | Oxnard CA, 93035)
Class sketches will be provided for each class and no drawing or painting skills are required.
- Beach Dunes
Saturday, June 10th 2-4pm
$49 each includes all supplies and 1st glass of Beer or Wine
Learn to paint the class view in this fun afternoon of watercolors at the beach. Phyllis will guide you through the steps to paint a soft sky, moving water, and the local sand dunes with grass and more. You can add your own flare to the painting with birds or more.
- Jelly Dance
Saturday, June 24th 2-4pm
$49 each includes all supplies and 1st glass of Beer or Wine
Create your own colorful underwater scene with vibrant water and the delicate moving jellyfish. You will learn to create shadows for depth, layers of paint and wet on wet backgrounds in this fun afternoon.
- Sunset Paradise
Saturday, July 15th 2-4pm
$49 each includes all supplies and 1st glass of Beer or Wine
Paint your own sunset paradise in this creative afternoon class where you will have lots of fun creating your scene and learn a variety of easy techniques along the way. Phyllis will guide you in painting a colorful sky, reflective waters and how to create your palm tree focal point.
- Shore Birds
Saturday, July 22nd 2-4pm
$49 each includes all supplies and 1st glass of Beer or Wine
Capture the beach line in this colorful watercolor class. You will learn to paint the moving water along the shore, a soft sandy beach, and our local sandpipers.
- Beach Sunset
Saturday, July 29th 2-4pm
$49 each includes all supplies and 1st glass of Beer or Wine
Sunset at the dines is a magical time and Phyllis will help you capture your own memory in this class. She will guide you in painting a vibrant sky with a few of the local birds, colorful waters and grassy beach dunes. What a great way to capture your memory of the beach at sunset.
