Please join us for a watercolor workshop sponsored by The Arts Council with Abi Brewer on November 7th from 6 to 8 pm!
Abi often draws upon experiences from her past to create her paintings. Whether it's fairytales she grew up with, Chinese traditions her mother tenderly passed down, or reflections on her experiences as a classical ballet dancer, she references pieces of herself through her whimsical portrayals of nature, culture, and movement. She calls herself a mixed-media painter because she can never choose just one painting medium—she loves them all! Instead, she is constantly inspired by the different combinations of media she uses such as watercolor, fabric, oil, resin, and gold leaf.
Learn how to draw and paint a cute winter penguin watercolor ornament! All supplies are included and beginner-friendly. We will walk through tips and tricks to draw and paint the composition and then assemble it into an adorable ornament!
