Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Pocomoke River and let your creativity flow! This hands-on, outdoor watercolor workshop welcomes artists of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned painters. Discover the river’s subtle colors, textures, and details while learning techniques like color mixing, brushwork, and using natural water as a medium, all from the water itself. Canoe rental is included, with boating led by a knowledgeable park ranger.Spend the evening creating with teaching artist Shannon Rose Moriarty, producing a series of small watercolor studies and a larger piece inspired by the surrounding landscape. This workshop encourages you to slow down, connect deeply with nature, and experiment with new artistic approaches in a playful and supportive environment. Perfect for artists, nature lovers, and anyone aged 10+ (participants 10–16 attend with an adult).Tickets are $100 per person, with proceeds helping to support and sustain the state park. Celebrate art, nature, and community while making a meaningful contribution!
