Ever feel like time moves too fast? Pen and paint can capture a moment in ways that nothing else can. In this demo, artist Erin Hardin will show you her techniques for creating beautiful watercolor journal entries. We'll start the demo getting familiar with the waterbrush and your travel watercolor set- Erin's favorite tools for on-the-go painting. Next we'll move on to techniques for laying out your journal pages and drawing your subject. Then, of course, we'll move into how to use your watercolors themselves, using a combination of layering and blending to create beautiful, luminous paintings. Erin will provide a variety of objects as painting subjects for the demo. You'll leave with a new set of skills and a new way to keep those moments from slipping through your fingers.
