Watercolor Journey: From Sketchbook Creation to Still Life Painting

In this session, we’ll guide you through creating your personal watercolor sketchbook. Using high-quality 100% cotton cold-pressed watercolor paper perfect for sketches, participants will learn how to bind and tape their own custom sketchbook, perfect for capturing on-the-go creativity. We will have some fabrics to choose from to cover the books, but feel free to bring fabrics of your choosing!!

Discover the art of making your own watercolor paints from natural pigments and gum arabic. By the end of this workshop, you’ll have your very own 15-paint palette, filled with vibrant, archival, eco-friendly colors in portable pans—ready for your next adventure!

In the final workshop, we’ll play in the studio and paint from life. With your handmade sketchbook and paints, you’ll capture the essence of found objects, learning tips and techniques to enhance your still-life painting experience. We’ll have plenty of objects to paint but you are more than welcome to BYOO!!
