About this Event

In this watercolor for beginners class your instructor Carrie will be discussing the history, make-up of the medium, and all the tools used in watercolor. Brushes, paper, tape, and other items used in watercolor to create certain techniques will be discussed also.

In the second hour of this watercolor class each student will create a color chart, complete sections for each technique, and discuss what reference pictures each student would like to use for their final piece.

In the third hour of this watercolor class Carrie will be discussing reference photos and how best to use them. Each student will paint a work of their choosing and I will be available to coach and answer questions.
