Welcome! This workshop is for all art learners and artists, from beginners to advanced who are looking to refine their technique.
*This session is part 2 of a 4-part workshop taught by Annie Melik. You can attend all days for $200, or individual sessions for $50. Session 1: core painting techniques. Session 2: summer colors or still life. Session 3: birds or animals. Session 4: coastal landscapes or marinas
My workshops are designed as inclusive, learner-centered spaces where every participant can grow at their own pace.
During each session, I’ll facilitate your understanding of essential watercolor painting techniques, color mixing, brush control, and composition. You will have time to explore, experiment, and create at your own pace while I offer individualized guidance.
This session will cover: Summer Colors & Still Life: Select between Flowers or Mediterranean Lemons with Blue, White and Yellow Ceramic Elements.
This session explores color mixing, texture, and composition. Students practice creating expressive floral studies and a still life featuring lemons paired with blue-and-white ceramics, focusing on color harmony and contrast.
Final Assignment:
Complete a still life composition of lemons with limited color pallet of blue, white and yellow ceramic elements, or a floral composition using warm colors and layering technique.
