The GCWS has arranged a docent-led tour of the museum's collection of watercolor paintings!
The Cincinnati Art Museum houses a massive, nationally renowned collection of American and European works on paper, featuring notable watercolors by artists like John Singer Sargent and Elizabeth Nourse. However, because watercolors are highly sensitive to light and fade quickly, they are rotated regularly rather than kept on permanent display.
Please join us for the tour and for lunch afterward at the museum's Terrace Cafe! The Terrace Café offers a full menu with a variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches inspired by works in our collection. It’s a great way to enhance your visit to the museum!
This tour is entirely complimentary. Please RSVP for the 1) tour and 2) lunch. The museum especially needs a count for lunch reservations.
