In this class, you’ll combine crisp pen sketching with soft watercolor washes to create a charming illustrated scene. You’ll start by capturing a vignette using micron pens, learning simple techniques for line work, texture, and adding personality to your sketch. Then you’ll layer in watercolor, transforming your drawing with color and loose, expressive washes that bring the illustration to life. You’ll leave with a finished piece that feels equal parts sketchbook page and frame-worthy art.
