Our subject for class is a fun summer watermelon painted in watercolor.
This Beginner Class is designed for anyone who has ever had an interest in watercolor painting but didn’t know where to begin!
No experience is necessary for this class since we are starting from the first time ever picking up a brush to a finished painting!
Class includes the following:
* First hour supply and surface info followed by a 15-minute break
* Supplies for every student.
* Paper with a ready to paint pattern for every student.
* Instruction about brushes and paint
* Instruction about painting surfaces
* Hands on instruction to learn water and paint ratio
* Hands on practice exercise before painting our subject
* One finished painting per student to take home by the end of class

Joy Wilson has recently moved to Prattville from south Alabama and brings with her a wealth of creative knowledge. She hails from Evergreen, Alabama where she had a retail gift shop and taught classes for 20 years. Her degree on Interiors and Housing from Auburn University is what led her to her main area of expertise which is watercolor home and commercial building portraits. She is a watercolor artist by trade but also paints in acrylics: especially custom designed Christmas ornaments. She has collectors all over the United States.
Her beginner watercolor classes have been extremely well received and perfect for anyone who is just starting out in watercolor.
