Watercolor 101 - Fall Leaves

Always wanted to start painting with watercolors?

Our favorite plant shop is hosting an intimate watercolor workshop on Saturday, October 11th, at 2:00 PM. Perfect for total beginner watercolor enthusiasts!

Only eight spots available! This watercolor 101 class explores the beauty of local leaves in the fall season, where participants will learn to paint vibrant local autumn foliage using loose and enabling watercolor techniques. The class focuses on capturing the rich reds, oranges, and golds (!) of fall leaves, while exploring several different watercolor techniques!

What to expect?

• Learn how to use watercolors, exploring, brush and water control;
• How to apply several different techniques, like wet on wet and wet on dry;

• How to sketch easily;
• All supplies are included!

About the intructor: Angelica Boleta is a self-taught artist known for her delicate, nature-inspired watercolor paintings. Her work captures the vibrant colors and elegance of flora and fauna, reflecting a heartfelt connection to the natural world.

Blending traditional techniques with a modern touch, Angélica creates pieces that evoke both emotion and tranquility. Beyond painting, she shares her passion for watercolor through workshops, guiding others in discovering the meditative flow of the medium. Whether through custom commissions or in-person and online classes, her goal is to help others embrace creativity, let go of control, and find peace in the fluidity of watercolors.
