In this hands-on class, you’ll immerse yourself in the beauty of the meditative technique of water marbling, where you will learn to float vibrant colors on the surface of water, designing a pattern you love, and transferring it on fabric.

Guided with step by step instruction, , you’ll begin by selecting up to 5 colors for your silk’s design and learning how to carefully apply paints to the water’s surface- a beautiful and mesmerizing process.

You’ll then explore various traditional and modern marbling techniques using specialized tools to swirl, comb, and shape intricate designs on the top surface of the water.

With each motion, the water responds organically, creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Once you’ve created a pattern you love, together we will transfer it onto a fabric, capturing your unique pattern in a permanent and wearable work of art, a unique silk scarf!
