This in-person hands-on training lab provides practical training for water distribution operators working in underground environments. Participants will review utility locating practices, safe excavation methods, and trenching and shoring requirements before applying those skills in the field. The lab focuses on identifying and repairing a simulated water main break, emphasizing safety, coordination, and proper repair techniques commonly used by municipal utilities. *Last FREE training through the Workforce Development Grant.*
