A talk on how our built environment comes to be built, dealing with practical, technical and legal considerations of property development.
About this Event

HH Philip Kramer will chair the event and our speakers will be:

Neil McMillan: founder and director of iMpeC-developers of the £180 million Milburngate Development in Durham

Ian Wilson: award winning architect with Corstorphine and Wright, named by the Architectural Journal as 14 in the 100 top ranked architects in the country

Alistair Willis: planning director at Lichfields, an award winning planning and development consultancy

This is a unique opportunity to hear the first-hand experience of those who shape our built environment with the considerable social ramifications which this entails. It will be of interest to lawyers, planners, architects, surveyors, developers, local authorities, social scientists and students in these fields as well as anyone curious as to how we get the buildings and land use we do. As ever, Forum talks are an excellent opportunity to meet professionals across the disciplines which engage the work of the Business and Property Courts and judges.
