Join Us for an Unforgettable New Year’s Eve Hike! 🏞️✨

Celebrate the arrival of 2025 with an early morning hike to the summit of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park! We’ll be gathering for a beautiful, non-alcoholic toast at the top with incredible views of Los Angeles as the sun rises on the first day of the new year.

Event Details:

• Date: Tuesday, December 31, 2024

• Time: Arrive by 4:30 AM. Announcements begin at 4:50 AM, and the hike will start promptly at 5:00 AM.

• Location: Griffith Park, Merry-Go-Round Parking Lot #1 (please use the coordinates provided to avoid navigation issues). 34.131724, -118.283101

• Distance: Approximately 6 miles (round trip)

• Difficulty Level: Intermediate – this is not a beginner hike.

What to Bring:

• Layered Clothing: It will be cold, so dress warmly with gloves, beanies, and multiple layers.

• Water: Bring at least 2-3 liters of water.

• Sturdy Hiking Shoes: Essential for a safe and comfortable hike.

• Snacks: Fuel up along the way or at the summit.

Event Guidelines:

• Minors: All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

• No Pets: Due to the large group size, we ask that pets remain at home.

• No Drugs or Alcohol: This is a safe, inclusive space for all; please respect this policy.

• Leave No Trace: We follow Leave No Trace principles. Please help us keep the trail clean and respect the natural environment.
